Careful monitoring of premature infants and recognition of treatable disease are essential elements in preventing permanent vision loss.

Learn more about ROP pathophysiology, as well as key elements related to risk, assessment and emerging strategies for treatable disease by exploring different topics within the portal. Additional tools, including animations about ROP development and treatment can be found in HD Visual Learning.
